About the Role
This role sits at the forefront of where product management and television itself is heading.
For decades, turning on a TV meant passively picking up wherever broadcast left off. We are shifting that behavior: the TV's first screen becomes an intelligent, personalized surface that anticipates what a household wants content, services, commerce before a single app is opened. The person in this role is one of the people making that shift happen, device by device and market by market.
You will own
Glance's TV partner-integration portfolio end to end: all TV OEM and pay-TV operator integrations across markets, from initial technical scoping through launch and scale, and productizing our strategic technology partnerships with leading content, entertainment, travel, commerce, and music platforms.
This is a high-ownership role. You will work directly with partner product and engineering teams and with Glance's engineering, design, legal, and GTM teams across Bangalore and the US. There is no coordination layer to hide behind - you own your portfolio's outcomes, and you deliver them hands-on.
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap and delivery for TV OEM and operator integrations across platforms (Android TV / Google TV incl. Operator Tier, and proprietary OEM platforms) - first-screen and screensaver placements, default-experience agreements, hub/launcher integrations, firmware/OTA paths.
- Constantly scan the platform landscape for the next integration surface that puts Glance on more devices and treat every integration as a growth lever: understand how TVs ship, how software gets placed, set as default, and activated, and design for footprint, activation, engagement, and revenue, not just technical completion.
- Productize partnerships with leading content, entertainment, travel, commerce, and music platforms - APIs, deep links, embedded experiences, tune-in surfaces, and transactional/agentic commerce flows and translate partnership agreements into product requirements, deliverables, and KPIs that both sides are held to.
- Own launch readiness and post-launch optimization across engineering, design, legal, marketing, and partner teams; be the product voice in partner reviews and QBRs.
How You Work
- AI-first, prototype-first. Working in an AI-first way is a baseline expectation, not a plus.
- You use AI tools across research, analysis, and spec-writing and you design and prototype yourself: interactive prototypes and design explorations that let partners and leadership react to something real, before engineering writes a line of production code.
- Ownership and accountability: You run your portfolio like it's your business. When a launch is at risk, it's your problem until it's solved.
- Independent thinking and execution: You form your own point of view, make sound calls with incomplete information, and drive execution end to end.
- Outside-the-box problem solving: Partner integrations rarely go by the book. You find the third option instead of accepting the stalemate.
- Deeply hands-on: You write the PRD, debug integration issues alongside engineering, and are in the war-room at launch. This is not a status-meeting PM role.
What You'll Bring
- Proven business impact: Product work that demonstrably moved core metrics - revenue, distribution, activation, engagement and you can point to the numbers and what you personally did to move them.
- Distribution and growth mindset: You are always asking what kind of integration gets us onto more devices, and you understand the mechanics placements, defaults, platform programs well enough to spot openings and drive growth from them.
- 8+ years of product management (SPM), or 11+ years including leading PMs and owning a portfolio (GPM), ideally in platform, ecosystem, or B2B2C products.
- Experience shipping partner integrations with OEMs, operators, or large platforms, where success depended on another company's roadmap and release cycles.
- Strong technical fluency - APIs, SDKs, deep linking, identity/attribution, system-level integrations and sharp commercial instincts about how partnership deals are structured and where product commitments create risk or leverage.
- Excellent communication: crisp PRDs, executive-ready partner updates, and comfort representing the company externally.
- Experience with TV platform ecosystems or content/commerce partnerships is a plus.
Location & Travel: Based in Bangalore, working closely with teams and partners in the US and other markets. Periodic travel to partner sites and launch markets is expected.
