About the role
Build the compute infrastructure that supports Chai’s next generation of models, scientific products, and autonomous research. The capacity we bring online and how well we use it determine the scale of research we can pursue and the products we can put in scientists' hands.
Bring new clusters online and build shared infrastructure for research, inference, and engineering.
Work directly with researchers, engineers, and scientists to make that compute reliable and easy to use as the fleet and its demands grow.
Build the shared storage and security foundations that let people and agents use compute and data safely.
Optimize model inference and serving to run more scientific work with the compute we have.
About you
We look for depth in distributed systems, compute infrastructure, or performance engineering, with demonstrated ownership of substantial production systems. You can reason across layers, make sound tradeoffs around reliability and efficiency, and simplify infrastructure for the people using it.
